Ability to Move Wheels In and Out
Our easy-to-use home screen offers a function titled "Move Wheels", which allows the user to scan the surrounding environment using the wheelchair's top of the line tracking technology with just a click of a button! Smart Seat gives you the perfect recommended distance your wheels should move inward so that you can fit through a desired space without any hassle. A manual option to move the left and right wheels in and out individually is also offered in case the user wants to make specific changes.
Disassembling the Wheelchair
Have a small car with an even smaller trunk? No problem: unlike most electric wheelchairs, Smart Seat can be disassembled into multiple pieces, allowing you to take your chair everywhere! By accessing our "Disassemble" menu, all pieces will unlock, allowing you to take off each piece one by one. Smart Seat will always show you the status of the chair, and what pieces must still be removed, making sure the task is simple. Don't allow yourself to be limited in where you can travel to.
Assembling the Wheelchair
Assembling the chair is just as easy as disassembling! Simply begin attaching the different pieces together, and Smart Seat will let you know which pieces are incorrectly assembled or still need to be added. All pieces are broken up in a way to ensure no heavy lifting is done. Once everything is correctly put together, Smart Seat will let you know when your chair is safe and ready to be used! Our walkthrough makes sure you aren't wasting anytime, and allows for quick assembly so you can get out there and continue your adventure!
Finding Your Way Around
So many ramps and elevators in public areas are hidden or poorly placed. Our GPS function has mapped out the internals of public buildings as well as outdoor paths so that users are able to set any destination they want, and Smart Seat will give you the most efficient route available! Whether it be getting to the parking lot or finding the entrance to a building, Smart Seat will lead you in the right direction, making sure you never have to struggle with finding an elevator or ramp again!
Making it on Time
Want to impress your boss or professor and show up to an event early? Smart Seat has a "Recommended Speed" function that you can activate during a GPS route. This accounts for the pavement, turns, weather conditions, etc. and recommends a fast, yet safe speed that you can travel at to ensure you get to where you need to go as fast as possible. No need to worry about maintaining this speed; you can set cruise control and Smart Seat will take care of it for you. Worried about crashing? You can slow down or brake at any time manually using the steer/move joystick present on your wheelchair.
